Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association

Minnesota asphalt pavement association represents about 96 percent of Minnesota’s asphalt industry.

Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association is often abbreviated as MAPA, and the association was first Incorporated as far back as 1942.

The association represents some 28 asphalt producers as well as 8 asphalt non-producers and 98+ associate members who supply materials to the hot mix asphalt (HMA) industry.

The main goal of the association is to represent members’ interests that involve items such as transportation, the environment, and legislation.

MAPA members range in scope from small driveway paving operations to larger, more diverse construction companies that produce hot mix asphalt on roads, airports, parking lots, recreational and facilities.

The association also provides technical assistance, training, and consultation to its members.
