Contractors State License Board

The CSLB protects consumers by licensing and regulating California's construction industry. In fact, there are more than 310,000 licensed contractors in the state, in 43 different licensing classifications.

California Landscape Contractors Association

The California Landscape Contractors Association is a non-profit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. Also included among its approximately 3,200 members are landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students.

State of Oregon: Construction Contractors Board

The Oregon Construction Contractors Board protects the public’s interest relating to improvements to real property.

The Board regulates construction contractors and promotes a competitive business environment through education, contractor licensing, dispute resolution, and law enforcement.

Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association

The Idaho Nursery and Landscape Association is an organization of professionals including retail nurseries and garden centers, wholesale, growers, landscape contractors and maintenance firms, arborist and allied trades.

North Carolina Landscape Contractors’ Registration Board

The Registration Board consists of nine appointed citizens who are responsible for administering Chapter 89D of the General Statutes of North Carolina. That is, to give examinations, issue certificates, monitor for violations, maintain records of registrants, etc.

Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado

ALCC certifies industry professionals, offers a wide range of opportunities for continuing education in landscape technology and business operations, recognizes outstanding landscape projects, improves safety, and addresses vital issues the industry will be facing in the future.
