This is a store that has a mission to provide quality plants grown in rich soil, as well as incorporate IPM practices to the way they do business, all for a reasonable price to the customers. Back in 1998 the store consisted of just a small greenhouse, open on evenings and weekends only for the first five years. However, since that initial period, their expansion resulted in the store now being open seven days a week from May through October. They also have events, such as the Great Pumpkin Contest that has been an annual fare since 2002 and the event was expanded in 2005 to include the Mammoth Sunflower Contest.
