Blooms Garden Center
Blooms Garden Center started in 1946 out of an operation at Bressingham Hall.
The company, called Blooms Nurseries grow rapidly during the 1950s and one of the main contributions was to bring new plant introductions into the UK.
The retail operation as well as a mail order business were added to the company in 1964.
By 1970, Blooms of Bressingham was a well-established gardening name in the UK with many Chelsea Gold Medals and well-known plant introductions to their credit.
In the 2000s, the gardening center has been under a new investment programme that involves the redevelopment of a number of the existing Blooms Garden Centres and the purchasing of more.
Of their gardens, the Dell and Foggy Bottom are open to the public and share the same site as the new Blooms of Bressingham Plant Centre.
The garden center chain has a website at bloomsofbressingham.co.uk, from where you can also read more about the public gardens and available services.
The chain is part of Wyevale, which is why you can find the locations of the stores at the Wyevale garden centers website:
