Asphalt Institute

Asphalt Institute is the umbrella association for petroleum asphalt producers, manufacturers, and affiliated businesses.

The Institute was originally founded in 1919, and today, the members of the association represent about 90% of the liquid asphalt produced in North America and an increasing percentage in international markets.

In terms of asphalt blacktop industry, the Institute promotes the use of asphalt-based products through our involvement in the Asphalt Pavement Alliance.

That association, in turn, is the industry coalition association that has a primary mission of furthering the use and quality of Hot Mix Asphalt pavements.

Another important part of their mission are the seminars that they organize. Current set of seminars that they organize on an annual basis include:
