Asphalt Emulsion Roof

Asphalt emulsion roof applications are used as roof and foundation coating.

These emulsions are useful also in pipe coating, pavement sealing, crack & joint repair, automotive coatings and in many other users.

In short, these are asphalt-based, clay emulsion products that produce a film that provides water resistance to the roof.

The coating has a semi-paste consistency, which means it is easily brushed or sprayed.

For many types of emulsion products, the applied film is a "breather type" meaning it permits water vapor to escape while curing.

If that is the case, the product allows application over "green" or damp surfaces and helps prevent blistering.

Once the film is dried, it cures to a tough, durable, flexible finish that stands against extreme changes in temperature and vibration.
